Quick Facts

A $2,000 scholarship is offered by the Canadian Federation of University Women Kelowna to a female graduate student in the College of Graduate Studies at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan campus. Preference is given to a student who is a resident of the Regional District of Central Okanagan, who has demonstrated academic excellence, and who has demonstrated the greatest financial need.

Value: $2,000

Eligibility

  • Female graduate student registered in a full-time graduate degree program at the Okanagan campus
  • Preference is given to a student who is a resident of the Regional District of Central Okanagan

Registration

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in full-time study leading to a degree at the University of British Columbia in the previous 2019 Winter Session (2019/20). Applicants must also be enrolled in full-time study in the 2020 Winter Session (2020/21) in order to retain a scholarship

Evaluation Criteria

  • Students will be evaluated based on the contents of their application and the descriptors included in the award description (i.e. academic excellence and who has demonstrated the greatest financial need)
