UBC Okanagan is excited to host the Western Regional 3MT® Competition on May 8, 2024. Our campus will welcome participants from across Western Canada who will share their research in three minutes using non-specialist language.

Western Regional 3MT Program

Join our host Victoria Femia from Global Okanagan, as master’s and doctoral students from universities across Western Canada compete for $3,000 in prize money!

First Place: $1,500

Book your group rate for the WESTERN REGIONAL 3MT COMPETITION May 2024

Rooms must be booked by April 16th to take advantage of the group rate.

The hotel is a 5 minute drive from campus and the hotel provides free shuttle service to UBCO. There is also a walking trail to campus behind Innovation Drive, takes approximately 15 minutes (see campus map above).
